Enhancing Trader Performance is by Brett N. Steenbarger
I have to finish one more chapter in this book before I’m done, but I thought I’d report on it anyway.
This book is geared more towards helping the stock traders increase their performance, but it is applicable to everyone and I highly recommend this book.
Brent N. Steenbarger is an associate clinical professor of Psychiarty and Behavioral Sciences at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. As director of trader development at Kingstree Trading, LLC, in Chicago he has mentored and trained professional trades.
This book is about increasing performance. Like I said, this book is geared towards stock traders, so it has a lot of story about different stock market traders. But it also talks about different performers and how they got to be where they are.
He mentions how Michael Jordan had to practice so hard to become one of the best NBA players ever. He mentions how Tiger Woods began golfing at the age of two.
And he talks about the ways you become the best performer in your area of study.
Through books like this that teach us how to better ourselves, we can individual become stronger and help others become stronger.
