Pencils and Pens

Pencils and pens are interesting, they do the same thing.

In fact, the only difference between pencils and pens is pencils have an eraser and can erase the mistakes they made.

I think pencils and pens are a great analogy for how we should interact with each other.

Pencils and pens write, and writing represents our interactions with each other, but having said that we need to be careful with how we interact with each other every second of everyday.

Every day we talk to or interact in some way (body language, verbal, tone of voice).

We often joke around or make fun of someone and we might have good intentions, but if someone overhears us they could get the wrong idea.

It is good and important for us to interact with each other so we can’t stop interacting. We just need to be careful.

Some interactions are like pencils and can be easily erased when you make a mistake (like giving apologies), but some interactions are more permanent like a pen and can’t be erased.

We just need to be careful and keep others in mind.

We need to think about pencils and pens.
