Spiderman

Spiderman

Who is Spiderman?

Spiderman is Peter Parker or in other words Peter Parker is Spiderman.

As the story goes Peter was on a field trip with his high school class, I believe it was a science class, so they were touring a museum or a lab of some sort. In that lab they were experimenting with four spiders and they had given these four spiders super strength and other powers.

But when they showed the spiders to the class there were only three, anyway the fourth spider escaped and bit Peter Parker. That is how we got Spiderman.

As Spiderman Peter got super strength, agility, he was able to climb walls and swing from roof to roof with the help of web launchers in his hands.

Even though Spiderman defended the city from all kinds of criminals, he was never really given the credit he deserved.

Now, it occurs to me that Peter Parker became Spiderman because of one event in his life. So, can’t we be Spiderman? Can’t we gather strength from one or multiple past experiences?

Can’t we looked back and say because of this I grew into who I am today. And the trick is to find the good that comes from that experience. As Spiderman, yeah Peter Parker saved the city from some nasty criminals, but he was hated for it. But in Peter’s mind saving lives was more important than getting the credit.

And besides that Peter never forgot the words of his grandpa “With great power becomes great responsibility.”

So, let’s find the good in life’s experiences and that will bring us strength enough to become our own Spiderman!!

  1. "Spiderman, Spiderman, he's the best man, Spiderman..."

Or my personal favorite: "Spiderpig, Spiderpig, does whatever a Spiderpig does. Can he swing by a web? No he can't, he's a pig!"

Sorry to be a goof, just feeling a little silly today. ;-)
