The families are under attack on every side.
Today people are learning that families are bad and will just hold you back.
The truth is that families have the opposite affect, they help you reach your full potential.
In today's world girl's are told that binging a homemaker or even having kids will tie you down and keep you from having fun. Boys and Girls are taught that it is cool to live together and not marry each other. And kids are told that they shouldn't listen to their parents, they should just do what they want.
This is not true, the fact is that there is nothing more valuable or precious they a man and a woman uniting themselves together in marriage and then expanding that marriage to include children, and thus creating a family.
In 1995 The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints came out with a statement on the family called A Proclamation To The World.
It states that "Marriage between a man and a woman is ordain of God and is central to the Creator's plan for the eternal destiny of His children."
It states that " Gender is an essential characteristic of individual premortal, mortal, and eternal identity and purpose."
It states that "The divine plan of happiness enables families to be perpetuated beyond the grave."
It states that "The First Commandment given to Adam and Eve pertained to their potential parenthood as husband and wife (Multiply and replenish the earth Genesis 1:28).
It states that "The powers of procreation are to be employed only between man and woman, lawfully wedded as husband and wife."
It states that "The means by which mortal life is to created to be divinely appointed."
It states that "Husband And Wife have a solemn responsibility to love and care for each other and for their children."
"It states that Husbands and wives-mothers and fathers will be hold accountable before God for the discharge of these obligations."
It states that "Children are entitled to birth within the bonds of matrimony and to be reared by a father and mother who honor marital vows with complete fidelity."
It states that "Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work and wholesome recreational activities."
It states that "Fathers are to preside, provide, and protect their families."
It states that "Mothers are primarily responsible for the nurture of their children."
It states that "In these sacred responsibilities Fathers And Mothers Are Obligated To Help One Another As Equal Partners."
The fact is that everyone grows in a family physically, mentally, and spiritually. By creating a family a father and mother can develop their organizational and communication skills as well as have fun with their children. Children can learn trust, dependability, responsibility, and a whole bunch of different positive attributes.
