Great Hero

I like to start this blog out with one of my hero's and why He is my hero.

Jesus Christ- My Savior and Hero. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and He's my hero because He lived a perfect life and helped others become perfect. The Savior was born in a manger in Bethlehem (Luke Chapter 2). He was born to a virgin named Mary. As she watched him grow and develop the skills he needed for life, she realized He was someone special.

It is interesting to note, that Christ was raised up as a carpenter (who builds and fixes things) but became a Prophet (who also builds and fixes things). Throughout His ministry Christ taught how to become perfect. He taught be example and be word that when we have complete faith in Him we can do anything.

During the last few days of His life those he knew, who He grew up with turned on Him, yet He never said one word of complaint and ultimately He was crucified. Three days later He appeared to Mary Magdalene in the flesh (John Chapter 20). By overcoming death He created a way for us to live with Him again.

In later years He's told us that during the Atonement He took on himself all of our pains, sufferings, and sorrows. He has told us that by turning to Him we can also overcome all things. We are His brothers and sisters, He loves us and wants us to be happy. He knows that the only way to be truly happy is through His help.

He as well as Our Father in Heaven want us to talk to Them through pray, They want to talk to us through revelation, they are ready to help whenever we are ready to let them. They take joy in our happiness and we should take joy in their happiness.

They are willingly to stop whatever they're doing and help us through even the smallest of problems. They want us to do the same for others. Sometimes in this life we get so caught up in ourselves, but if they can stop want they're doing. We should do the same to those around us, those who need our help and those who don't.

When Christ was on the earth He was willing to give up everything to help us return to Him and He did. He's still willing to give up everything to help us return to Him. That is why Christ is my Savior and your Savior, that is why He is one of my hero's.

To learn more about the Savior and Redeemer even Jesus Christ and what He taught, read the Bible and the Book of Mormon.
