Moral Strength
We can find moral strength in many ways. Be watching movies, reading stories or poems, and looking closer at things we use every day.
Welcome
The point of this blog is to discuss different topics about how to
gain some moral strength!! Welcome!!
I am doing a little remodeling. I am going to put some of my posts about the same topic on there own page. So you can either click on the page topic at the left or the labels at the right to get to a post.

What do you want?
What do you want?
Today I would like to share a lesson I learned a few weeks ago.
I am currently trying to learn how to drive, but have learned it’s a long hard road.
A few months ago one of my best friends and I started driving his car around in a parking lot, we bought a spinner knob and a few mirrors that I need. About a month later I had learned all I could in a parking lot so my friend suggested I get a permit.
So, one day we went to the DMV and learned how we should go about getting an eye doctor to sign off on a driver’s license. We went to the eye doctor that afternoon and got her ok for a license, but then it was suggested I get a doctors opinion.
I made an appointment with the doctor and a month or so later, when I meet with her she suggested I go to a specialist, so I did some research and made an appointment with a specialist for a month later.
The specialist gave me some tests and told me what I need to improve on, however she didn’t give me a no or a yes, but she suggested a special eye doctor, so I made an appointment with him and now I’m waiting to meet with him.
The moral of the story is that I thought this would be a lot easier, but I’ve learned that if you really want something you have to work at it and work hard!
It is always going to be easier to give up, but if you really want something you need to work at it no matter how long it takes it will be worth it as long as you work at it!
But, first you have to decide what you want and how bad you want it!

Entitlement
Entitlement is a tough subject to bring up, because we are entitled to some things like freedom of choice or free speech, but other things like free food or free healthcare we are not entitled to.
I’m not perfect; I do feel like I am entitled to some things, but the way I see entitlement is like a topping on a dessert. Toppings such as Carmel syrup can make ice cream a lot more sweet and tasty, but do we really need them some times? Food is good and is necessary for life, but you don’t really need to add toppings to everything.
As for what is an entitlement? I think an entitlement is a product or service that is given away for free. For example, free speech and freedom to choose are dependent on human actions. Free food and healthcare are products and services that are given away freely.
Don’t misunderstand, I do think giving of food or money to the poor is a wonderful idea, but they become entitlements when our society has laws that provide free things, or things that are preserved to be free to the masses.

Strength
I found these on a wall in one of my classes.
I think they will bring great strength to us!
"Those who say it can't be done our usually interrputted by those doing it."
"We must know our limits... And never stop trying to EXCEED THEM!"
Work
Work is work. It can be fun or it can't be. It can be hard or it can't be. But whatever it is it is almost always rewarding.
I don't know about you guys, but working or having something to do gives me a sense of accomplishment.
Yes, I like taking breaks now and then, but if I'm lazy all day I just feel like I wasted the whole day.
Some people out there think that if they work they won't have as much fun. That's true in some respects, if you work you won't have as much free time, but as you work you will earn money, which will allow you to do bigger and more exciting things.
And when you work you usually will come home thinking that your life is worth something.
I know work is hard sometimes, but in the end it will be worth it, in the end we will be proud of ourselves.
All it takes to accomplish something great is a little work!
So, let's go out and learn something new, let's go out and work!

Powerful Words
These statements were on the wall of one of my classrooms
“If it is to be it is up to me.”
“Think big the world is yours to create.”
Think about them!
